History of ECOOP

The inaugural ECOOP tournament series took place over ten days from the 30th November to the 9th of December 2007 and offered a record $2,500,000 in guaranteed prizes. Following its massive success, the ECOOP became a fixture on the online poker calendar and has gone from strength to strength ever since.

The second ECOOP tournament series was an even bigger achievement - with unprecedented numbers of online poker players competing over a ten day period from the 23rd of May to the 1st of June 2008. The guaranteed prize pool increased to a staggering $3,500,000 and took the series to brand new heights.

Staged over a record fourteen days from the 24th of November to the 7th of December 2008, the third ECOOP tournament series made history - breaking the $4 MILLION prize pool barrier and attracting players from every corner of the globe.

ECOOP IV promised to be the most lucrative installment yet and provide 14 days of ‘pure poker excitement’... it duly delivered! From May 25th this year nearly 9,000 online players battled it out across 14 thrilling and intense individual events... with a shared desire to land a coveted ECOOP bracelet and a share of the total $4.55 MILLION total prize pool on offer!
