Leading online poker room CelebPoker.com has launched an online competition that will give six of its members the opportunity to play against big international names, such as Phil Ivy and Daniel Negreanu, at the prestigious Seefeld Poker Masters tournament in Austria.

All members who rake more than €500 on the site between the 1st and 22nd of April, or the same period in May, will qualify for one of two semi-finals from which the top 10 will go forward to a Grand Final on May 24th. From this contest, six winners will receive a €2,250 sponsorship package for Poker Master, while the following four will receive a €375 prize.

“We are now running regular Team CelebPoker promotions, offering our members the chance to win a buy-in at prestigious tournaments around the world,” said David Donovan, Chief Executive Officer of CelebPoker.com. “This contest follows on from the success of a similar promotion for the San Remo Main Event, which proved hugely popular.”

The Seefeld Poker Masters, running on June 13th and 14th, is a highly exclusive event with just 120 players and a buy-in of €1,500. The eventual winner will share in a prize pool estimated at over €180,000.

“The beauty of these competitions is that you can qualify for the two semi-finals simply by spending time at the tables,” added David. “For those who haven’t had the time, however, there is the option of a €250 buy-in direct to the Grand Final.”

In addition to their entry to the tournament, the six Team CelebPoker members will each receive €750 towards travel and accommodation.
