CelebPoker launches ECOOP VI

The history of the ECOOP goes back over 3 years already, when the total prize pool was just $2,500,000. After that first, very successful ECOOP I, the total prize money steadily increased with each new championship.

This time the prize pool is bigger than ever: $5,100,000! ECOOP VI starts off with a special 10-day warm-up series: the Mini ECOOP VI, starting on the 14th of May, where a total of $600,000 will be given away in prize money. The Main ECOOP VI series will start on the 24th of May and over a 2 weeks period, $4,500,000 will be given away.

The final ECOOP VI Main Event has a guaranteed prize pool of $1,500,000, of which the winner will win a minimum of $300,000! Also new for this season are two quadric events. Event #5 in the Mini series and event #11 in the Main series will be a serious online poker thrill. In these events, players will play four tournaments simultaneously, with a leader board calculated across all four events.

Furthermore, all winners of each event in the main ECOOP VI series will win an personalized Tag Heuer ECOOP VI watch, on top of the massive prizes.
